GCSE Drama
The GCSE esam is made up of two papers, Paper 1 worth 60% and marked inernally by your Drama teacher and Paper 2 40% Marked externally by an examiner.
Paper 1 is then divided into two units, both worth 30%. One is the study of an issue based topic, and is explored using relevant drama techniques.
The other Unit 2 is the exploration of a play text.
This work is practical, but suppported by a portfolio of evidence which should be submitted by the end of February. The portfolio does have limits. Only 6 sides of A3 may be used per unit (or 12 sides of A4-NOTE not 12 sheets)
So the toatl work must fit onto 12 sides of A3 or 24 sides of A4, this includes pictures diagrams and scripts.
